The High Court quashed the life sentence of eight accused in the controversial Paul M George Muthoot murder case. The court acquitted eight accused, including first accused Jayachandran. Meanwhile, the second accused in the case, Kary Satish, has remained unchanged. The sentence of other accused was Jayachandran, third accused Sattar, fourth accused Sujith, fifth accused Akash Sasidharan, sixth accused Satish Kumar, seventh accused Rajiv Kumar, eighth accused Shino Paul and ninth accused Faisal were quashed.
