Oxygen deficiency; In Andhra Pradesh, 11 patients died

Hyderabad: Eleven patients have died due to lack of oxygen in Andhra Pradesh. The incident took place at Tirupati Ruia Government Hospital. Relatives said the oxygen supply was interrupted for about 45 minutes. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has ordered an inquiry into the incident.

In Maharashtra, meanwhile, the number of cases per day has dropped to less than 40,000. The death toll remains above 500. 37, 236 people were diagnosed with the disease. 61, 607 people were cured.

More daily cases were reported in Karnataka than in Maharashtra. While 39,305 people were diagnosed with the disease, 596 died in Karnataka within 24 hours.

In Tamil Nadu, 28,978 cases were reported, and in Uttar Pradesh 21,277 cases. According to statistics released by the states, the number of patients is less than 3.5 lakh per day.
