New Delhi: UPSC has started a one-time registration facility. Aspirants seeking government jobs can henceforth apply for various recruitment exams through a single registration.
Once the registration of a candidate is complete, the information will be stored securely on the Commission’s servers, UPSC said.
Candidates who want to apply for further examinations of the Union Public Service Commission have to register themselves on OTR (One Time Registration) platform by filling in personal details. Earlier, one had to fill in the personal details repeatedly every time they applied. “Various examinations are conducted every year for various departments and institutions of the central government. Many candidates apply for the same.
Those who complete the one-time registration will not need to re-enter basic personal information while applying for each subsequent examination. At the time of online registration for the exams, 70 percent of the information to be provided by the candidates will be pre-filled. This method will save time and avoid making mistakes by filling in haste. The registration process can be completed on the commission’s websites https://upsc.gov.in and https://upsconline.nic.in.
