New Delhi: One more person has been confirmed with monkeypox in Delhi. The 22-year-old woman is undergoing treatment at Lok Nayak Jaya Prakash Narayan Hospital. This is the fifth case of monkeypox in Delhi.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization has condemned the mass killing of monkeys in Brazil due to the fear of monkeypox. WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris said monkeypox is spread from person to person.
It can spread from animals to humans. But what can be seen now is that it spreads from human to human. Margaret Harris said that animals should not be attacked for this reason.
