Geneva: The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned people not to take Omicron as mild.
Maria Van Kerkow, the World Health Organization’s technical head, said that although health problems caused by Omicron were relatively low compared to the Delta, caution was needed and that it would be dangerous to take them as mild.

WHO chief Tedros Adanom Gebrias said the number of people confirming the new variant was surpassing the Delta variant previously held in many countries.
