Bengaluru: The Omicron variant of covid has been confirmed in 10 more people in Karnataka. With this, the number of Omicron victims in the state has increased to 76. Omicron has been confirmed for eight foreigners in Bangalore and two in Dharwad. Two of them are children. Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar said others had received both doses of the covid vaccine. The disease was confirmed to the people from Dubai, USA, and Belgium.
The first Omicron cases were confirmed here on December 2. Those diagnosed with the disease have no symptoms or other health problems, officials said.
