Three arrested in case of doctor rape of Dalit nurse during night duty in Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place on the 17th of this month in a private hospital in Moradabad. On the complaint of the nurse’s father, three persons including Dr. Shanawas, nurse Mehnas and ward boy Junaid were arrested.
The case is that the accused forcibly locked the nurse in the room and tortured her. In the complaint, the nurse, a Dalit woman, was castigated and threatened.
The nurse’s father came forward demanding death penalty for the accused. A special team has been appointed to investigate the incident.
