New Delhi: North Indian states again into extreme winter. The Meteorological Center has said that the cold wave will intensify in the coming days. Rajasthan and Gujarat have already started feeling cold winds from the north.
With the cold wave again gaining strength, the life of the people in North India became difficult. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of severe fog in Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha. As part of the warning, an orange alert has been announced in Punjab and Haryana.
The morning fog disrupted road, rail, and air traffic. Six flights were delayed from Delhi International Airport. Northern Railway has informed that 20 trains are running late. On the 17th and 18th, the temperature is likely to reach three degrees and below. The meteorological department has estimated that extreme cold weather will continue till the 19th of this month.
