New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday lashed out at the Taliban for invading Kabul and killing the Afghan people. He made it clear that the survival of those who built an empire based on terrorism was not permanent. He was speaking at an event related to the Somnath Temple in Gujarat.
‘Terror cannot destroy faith. The Somnath temple was attacked several times. Their goal is to destroy the temple. But whenever this temple is erected, it is the best example to the world. The Somnath Temple is an example of how to rise no matter how hard you try to destroy it ‘, said the Prime Minister.
‘The forces that think of building an empire based on terrorism may be able to dominate for a while, but their existence is not permanent. Humanity cannot be suppressed forever, ”he said. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement is an indirect response to the Taliban’s attacks in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called a meeting to discuss the situation after the Taliban took power in Afghanistan. The meeting also discussed the repatriation of Indians stranded in Afghanistan. So far, 170 people stranded in Afghanistan have been repatriated. The Center had said that it would be clear within two days whether more people would be brought back.
