Patna: In Bihar, the ruling party NDA retained power. The NDA has a clear majority in the 243-member assembly. The NDA won 125 seats. The opposition Grand Alliance has 110 seats. And eight seats for the others.
The BJP won 74 and the JDU 43 seats. Hindustani Awami Morcha and Vikas Sheel Insan Party won the RAW seat. The RJD has 75 seats and the Congress 19. The CPI (M) won 2 seats and the CPI (M) 12 seats. The AIMIM has five seats and the LJP, BSP and Independents each
They also won seats. JDU’s Sunil Kumar won the Valmiki Nagar Lok Sabha seat.
