Patna: Bihar High Court stays Patna court’s order against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over Modi reference. The action was taken on the complaint filed by BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi. Last day, Rahul Gandhi approached the Bihar High Court against the Patna court verdict.
BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi approached the court against Rahul Gandhi’s public address in Kolar in 2019. Sushil Kumar Modi filed a petition against Rahul Gandhi while facing proceedings in the Surat court. The Patna court heard the petition on March 31 and directed Rahul Gandhi to appear before the court on April 12.
But Rahul Gandhi did not appear in the court on the said date. Then Rahul Gandhi asked the court for more time. According to this, the court directed Rahul Gandhi to appear in person on April 25. Meanwhile, Rahul approached the Bihar High Court.
