New Delhi: NIA conducted inspections in four states including Kerala. The raid followed the discovery of links with Pakistan-backed outfit Ghazwa-e Hind. The raid was conducted in Kozhikode district of Kerala. Dewas in Madhya Pradesh, Gir Somanakh in Gujarat and Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh were also inspected. The information released by the NIA is that many documents and digital devices have been seized.
The NIA action was taken in a case registered in Bihar’s Phulwari Sharif on July 14 last year after it was found that the Ghaswa-e-Bind organization was spreading anti-India agenda along with Pakistani terrorists. Ghazwa-e-Hind planned to attack India.
Bihar Police arrested Marghoob Ahmed Danish, who was the administrator of the organization’s WhatsApp group. NIA took over the case in July 2022.
