The gate of Saket Court was locked by lawyers. A lawyer from the Rohini court tried to set himself ablaze by pouring kerosene on him. He was turned away by his colleagues. The clashes between police and lawyers in the Hazari and Saket courts on Saturday, November 2, has caused a rift between the two sides. Thousands of policemen protested in New Delhi last week demanding the arrest of lawyers who attacked the police and taking adequate action. The protest lasted for 11 hours.
