Srinagar: A Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist has been arrested from the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police said the terrorist was arrested and the weapons in his possession were confiscated. The terrorist was nabbed after a joint search by the Army and the Central Reserve Police Force.
The security forces were conducting a search operation based on intelligence received about a terrorist infiltration in the Poshkar area of Budgam. Ab Hamid Nath, a resident of Petsanigam Beerwah in Budgam in central Kashmir, was arrested.
Police said they found a pistol, a magazine, five pistol bullets, and a Chinese grenade in his possession. A case has been registered against him and an investigation is underway, police said.
