Washington, DC: The United States has strongly retaliated against the attack on Kabul. The US held airstrikes on power bases in ISIS in Afghanistan. The incident took place in Nangarhar province. The Central Command claimed that they had found the target and killed the ISIS leader.
The bomber struck shortly afternoon in front of a U.S. military base, killing at least 170 people and wounding 170 others, including 17 U.S. soldiers. 13 American soldiers and two British civilians are among those killed. Most of the dead were Afghan nationals. At least 30 Taliban militants have been identified as dead.
