New Delhi: The ban on international flights has been extended in the wake of the Covid expansion. The ban on international flights has been extended to April 30, the government said.

International flights have not been allowed for the past year. The first ban on international flights was imposed in March last year. The ban was imposed in the wake of the Covid expansion. But it was decided to continue the ban as the spread was still not fully controlled.

The Vande Bharat Mission to repatriate those stranded abroad and the air-bubble system, a temporary arrangement between countries for travelers, are exempt. International flights are allowed under special agreements with 27 countries, including the United States.
