New Delhi: After the missile attack on Israel, the Ministry of External Affairs has asked Indians to avoid travel to Iran. It is advised not to travel unless necessary. The central government’s guidance says that Indians in Iran should be vigilant and keep in constant communication with the embassy in Tehran.
The foreign ministry’s warning comes amid reports that Israel is preparing to retaliate. The central government has also stated that it is closely monitoring the situation of tension in the region. Earlier, the central government had given a similar instruction to Indian citizens in Israel.
At the same time, India expressed concern over the deteriorating situation in West Asia. India urged both parties to exercise restraint and resolve issues through dialogue and diplomatic channels for the safety of the people. Iran launched a fierce attack against Hamas after killing Hezbollah leaders.
