The latest news coming from the world of cricket is that Team India lost the second match in a row in the five-match Twenty20 series against the West Indies. West Indies beat India in the second Twenty20 match by 2 wickets. Windies beat India’s target of 153 runs in 18.5 overs with the cost of eight wickets. The victory gave West Indies a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
When the match was in its final overs, the unbreakable duo of Alzari Joseph and Aqeel Hussain began to cause problems for Team India. Also, Nicolas Puran hit a spectacular half-century to propel the West Indies team closer to victory. Puran scored a half-century off 29 balls. He scored 67 runs off 40 balls, including six fours and four sixes. Puran’s batting was crushing India’s aspirations, and the Indian bowlers were helpless.
West Indies batsman slumped when Pooran’s wicket fell. West Indies failed when Romario Shepherd (0) was run out by Akshar Patel and Jason Holder (0) was dismissed by Chahal. Hetmeyer also succumbed later. West Indies fell from 126 for four to 129 for eight as a result of this. This was a chance for Indian bowlers to seek victory but unfortunately luck didn’t favour Team India.
Aqeel Hussain’s unbroken 16* off 10 balls in the ninth wicket and Alzari Joseph’s 10* off 8 balls denied India victory. The Windies won their second match with seven balls to spare. For India, Hardik Pandya grabbed three wickets and Chahal was able to take two wickets. Arshdeep and Mukesh each took one wicket. Tilak Verma hit a half-century for the second time in a row. Thilak made 51 off 41 balls, including five fours and a six.
