Dubai: The cancellation of flights from India to the UAE has been extended till July 21. The decision rests with the General Civil Aviation Authority. The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority has issued a notice to the Air Force in this regard. However, the notice said that cargo planes, business and charter flights would be exempted from the restrictions. Some airlines had started booking but stopped booking due to ambiguity in travel terms.

In addition to flights from India, flights from Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, South Africa, and Nepal will be suspended until July 21.
Since April 24, the GCAA and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Emergency Management Authority have suspended all flights from India to national and international airlines.
