Srinagar: Troops killed three militants in two separate clashes in Jammu and Kashmir. Two militants were killed in a clash at Naina Batpora in the Pulwama district. Clashes between the militants and the army continue in the area. Another clash took place in the Hazratbal area of Srinagar. Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist killed in Hazratbal Security officials said the search for the two survivors was ongoing. The search was carried out following a tip-off that militants were present in both areas.
Meanwhile, the body of a soldier who went missing three days ago from Jammu and Kashmir. Found in Budgam district. Sameer Ahmed Malla, a soldier, went missing from Lokipora village in Khag Budgam on Monday afternoon. Police later found the body in Khag, 61 km from Lokipora.
The deceased was a soldier working in the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry, police said. A soldier who was on leave for the birth of his second child has gone missing from home. A detailed investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
