Chennai: Heavy rains continue in Tamil Nadu as Cyclone Michaung makes landfall on Tuesday. There is severe waterlogging in various places in the city of Chennai. Cyclone Michoung will intensify into a strong typhoon by Monday afternoon and is expected to bring more rain. Public holiday has been declared today in 6 districts including Chennai as a precaution. The holiday also applies to private institutions.
