Shimla: Three people have been killed in heavy rains and flash floods in Himachal Pradesh. Ten people are missing. Many people, including tourists, are reported to be stranded in various places. The Central Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh for the next four days.
Three people were killed in a cloudburst. Heavy damage was reported in three districts of Himachal Pradesh. There were landslides and mudslides in Kangra district. More than 100 people are reported to be trapped in Dharamshala. Many vehicles were swept away and submerged following the floods . Various NDRF teams are conducting rescue operations. State governments have advised people to be vigilant.
