Aligarh IG informed that six people have been arrested in Hathras tragedy. The members of the organizing committee were arrested. All 121 dead people have been identified. The IG also informed that the post-mortem procedures of all have been completed. The UP Governor has ordered a judicial inquiry into the accident. A three-member judicial inquiry commission was appointed under the chairmanship of retired Allahabad High Court Justice Brijesh Kumar Srivastava. A report will be submitted to the state government after the investigation.
