Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has decided to reopen multiplexes and theaters which were closed due to the expansion of covid. The office of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has announced that multiplexes and theaters will be allowed to open after October 22. The decision was taken after a meeting with filmmakers Jayanthilal Gada and Rohit Shetty.
The CM’s office said the theaters would be opened in compliance with the covid protocol and other details would be announced later.
