Chennai: In Tamil Nadu, four people who were undergoing treatment died due to lack of oxygen. The incident took place at Tirupati Government Hospital. The hospital was short of oxygen for hours.
Meanwhile, more lockdown restrictions have been imposed in Tamil Nadu from today. Tea shops and grocery stores will only be allowed to operate until 12 noon.
Only 50% of passengers are allowed on metros, taxis and buses. Covid testing has been made mandatory for those coming from other states including Kerala.
