Toronto: Indian students killed in Canadian car crash. Five Indian students were killed in a road accident in Toronto, Canada on Saturday, Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bizaria said. The deceased were residents of Punjab. He also tweeted that two people were injured in the crash. The accident happened on the Toronto Highway at around 3.45 am local time. The dead were identified as Harpreet Singh, Jaspinder Singh, Karanpal Singh, Mohit Chauhan, and Pawan Kumar, according to the Quintay West Ontario Provincial Police. They were traveling in a van when it collided with a tractor-trailer. Police are investigating the incident. No case has been registered. The injured were rushed to the hospital. The High Commissioner took to Twitter to offer his condolences to the families of the victims.
