New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked farmers to be ready for talks again. The Prime Minister also took to Twitter to ask farmers to listen to the explanation given by the Union Agriculture Minister.
The agitation against the Centre’s carnage continues unabated. Along with the winter, the farmers’ agitation intensifies. The demands of the farmers are to repeal the three laws introduced by the Central Government in the field of agriculture to subjugate the entire agricultural sector of the country to the corporates and to repeal the Electricity Amendment Bill which is detrimental to the farmers.
The government has said it will suspend the electricity bill and amend the laws to address concerns shared by farmers. But the strike committee has decided to shut down railways, national highways, toll plazas, and central government institutions to intensify protests against the government.
