Chennai: Renowned playback singer Vani Jayaram (78) passed away. She died at her residence in Chennai. She has sung in 19 languages including Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.
Last week, the country honored him with the Padma Bhushan. She entered the film singing scene with the film Swapnam.
