New Delhi: Delhi Police nabs a gang manufacturing fake cancer drugs. The crime branch arrested 4 members of the gang, including a doctor. The police also recovered fake medicines worth Rs 8 crore from them.
A group manufacturing fake cancer drugs was arrested on Tuesday. According to the Crime Branch Special Commissioner of Police, 2 engineers, a doctor and an MBA have been arrested in this connection. He informed that three people escaped and they will be caught as soon as possible.
The accused were manufacturing under the guise of life-saving cancer drugs. According to the police, the racket has been operating for the past 4 years. Police raided a factory in Haryana’s Sonipat and a godown in Ghaziabad. Fake medicines worth Rs 8 crore were recovered from here.
