Iswal: Earthquake hits Mizoram. The quake measured 6.1 on the Richter scale, according to the National Center for Seismology. The quake affected Thenzwal in Mizoram on Friday morning. The epicenter was reported 73 km south of Thenswal. The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued.No casualties or damage were reported from the quake.
