New Delhi: Dengue cases are increasing in West Bengal. The Health Department informed that 840 dengue cases were confirmed in the state in just one day. The authorities have instructed us to take precautions to prevent dengue fever and use only clean water for drinking.
Out of 7682 samples tested, 840 people were diagnosed with the disease. 541 people are currently hospitalized. More cases have been reported from North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Kolkata, Hooghly, Murshidabad, Jalpaiguri, and Darjeeling districts.
Dengue can be prevented
Dengue hemorrhagic fever is dengue fever that causes bleeding. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is fatal and difficult to cure even with treatment. If symptoms appear, seek treatment at the nearest health center as soon as possible without resorting to self-treatment.
