Eight soldiers were martyred in a bomb attack on a CRPF convoy in Chhattisgarh. A civilian was also killed in the attack.
More than eight soldiers who were in the convoy of the security forces were injured in the surprise attack. They are under treatment. The accident took place this morning on Bijapur Kuttu Marg, Chhattisgarh.
Bastar IGP Sundarraj has confirmed the incident. The Chhattisgarh Police explained that while the Naxalites were passing the convoy, the violent Naxalites attacked with IEDs.
