New Delhi: Covishield vaccine has been approved in eight European Union countries. Germany, Spain, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, and Switzerland have all given green passes to the Covshield vaccine. India has warned that compulsory quarantine will be imposed on people from EU countries if vaccines are not approved. Following this, eight countries changed their stand.
After receiving the green pass, Indians who have received two doses of the Covishield vaccine can travel to eight countries. Compulsory quarantine is also not required.
India had earlier demanded that those taking covaxin and covishield vaccine be allowed to travel to EU countries. India had warned that compulsory quarantine would be imposed on Indians from EU countries if permission was not granted.
