New Delhi: The number of confirmed cases of covid in the Supreme Court and Parliament has raised concerns over the increasing spread of covid in the country. So far, four Supreme Court judges and more than 400 parliamentarians have been diagnosed with the disease. The number of new covid cases in Delhi is over 20,000.
The infection is confirmed in Parliament staff in a test ahead of the pre-budget audit. From January 4 to 8, 1,409 employees were tested and 402 were infected.
Samples of the infected were sent for testing for omicron. The disease affected 200 Lok Sabha employees, 69 Rajya Sabha employees, and 133 other employees. Authorities have taken all precautions.
