New Delhi: With the rise of covid again, Delhi is all set to impose stricter restrictions. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has issued a yellow alert in line with the Graded Response Action Plan. The shops are only open from 10 am to 8 pm on alternate days. Auto rickshaws can not carry more than two people. Only 20 people can attend a wedding or death ceremony. Schools, college, swimming pool, gym, and theater will be closed. Only 50 percent of employees will be allowed in private companies.

The covid positivity rate in Delhi has been above 0.5 percent in recent days, according to the Union Health Ministry. Cases are on the rise but many have only mild symptoms. Kejriwal said no further oxygen consumption or need for a ventilator was reported.
