New Delhi: Air India Express makes COVID a negative certificate compulsory for people travels in Vande Bharat mission from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Airport. The certificate is mandatory from 21st at Abu Dhabi Airport.
The result was taken within 96 hours before traveling. This was revealed through social media by Air India Express. Passengers from Sharjah were checked within 48 hours. However, it was later changed to 96 hours.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong banned Air India flights in the wake of COVID expansion. The ban will be applicable until the end of this month. Some of the passengers arriving on Air India flight has been confirmed by the COVID. Authorities said the decision was made under “appropriate circumstances”.
According to the guideline issued in July, travelers must carry COVID negative certificate to reach Hong Kong. AI-310 / 315 Delhi- Hong Kong- Delhi service has been postponed due to the ban. The date of departure of the flight will be notified by the Government later.
