Kolkata: West Bengal has again declared a complete lockdown in the wake of the Covid outbreak. The closure is from tomorrow until the 30th of this month. State Chief Secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay said strict controls would be needed. Government offices, private establishments, shopping complexes, malls, bars, sports complexes, pubs, and beauty parlors will not be open during the lockdown. Private vehicles, taxis, buses, metro rail, and suburban trains are also regulated. Meanwhile, petrol pumps will be opened. Essential services will continue to operate.
