Kolkata: Violence in West Bengal continues as the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha polls progress. Trinamool Congress workers have broken the car of Union Minister Babul Supriyo, who was a candidate in the Asansol constituency. The BJP-Trinamool-CPM activists clashed in various booths.
Babul Supriyo alleged that the Trinamool workers had taken over the booth and not allowed people to vote. Babul Supriyo also said that all booths will be visited with central forces.
A group of the voter has been boycotted voting alleging central not providing security to 222 and 226 booths in the Jamuya constituency. They blocked the polling and protested in front of the booth. While traveling there, Babul Supriyo was blocked by a group of TMC activists. Following that, BJP activists clashed with Trinamool workers.
