New Delhi: Clash on India-Bangladesh border. The firing took place in North Dinajpur district of West Bengal.

The encounter took place on the border between Raiganj and Murshidabad in North Dinajpur, West Bengal. The BSF team was conducting a night search at the Hariharpur outpost in Sector Raiganj.
Meanwhile, a group of smugglers with weapons were attacking near the border fence. Meanwhile, two assailants tried to snatch the soldier’s rifle. The jawans then fired two rounds. The deceased was a native of Bangladesh.
