Today the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) through Twitter tweeted that the Chandrayaan-3 had successfully performed the third orbit-raising maneuver. The ISRO also mentioned that the spacecraft has attained a 51400 km x 228 km orbit as planned.
The next firing is planned for July 20.2023 between 2 and 3 pm IST. The second orbit-raising maneuver of Chandrayaan-3 was successfully completed yesterday.
Chandrayaan-3 was victoriously launched on July 14 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, gearing towards a smooth land on the unexplored south pole of the Moon. If Chandrayaan-3 is managing to land on the lunar surface then India can find a spot among the United States, China and Russia’s rank list.
