New Delhi: It is reported that the Central Government is planning to announce Covid Cess in the Union Budget. According to reports, the Center is preparing to introduce cess to cover the additional cost of preventive measures, including the Covid vaccine. The Center is contemplating ways to increase revenue. As part of this, it is reported that the final decision on the imposition of Covid cess, or surcharge, will be made just before the budget. The Union Budget is on February 1.
