New Delhi: The Center has allotted 53.25 lakh doses of Covid vaccine to the states in the wake of the outbreak of Covid cases in the country. 1,84,070 doses of vaccine were sanctioned for Kerala. 6.03 lakh dose for Maharashtra. Karnataka has been allotted 3.01 lakh doses of the vaccine.
The decision was made to distribute the vaccines within three days. So far, the Covid vaccine has been given to the states and union territories in only 17.49 crore doses, according to the health ministry. The states now have only 84 lakh doses of vaccines left, according to the health ministry.
