Ottawa: Canada extends a direct ban on direct flights from India. The ban has been extended to July 21. At the same time, the government has said that passengers from India will not be barred from reaching Canada on connecting flights via other countries. The government’s latest guidelines state that anyone wishing to visit the country must submit a Covid negative certificate before arriving in Canada.
Canada has already stated that it will not accept covid molecular test reports from India. Before arriving in Canada, each passenger is required to submit a Covid test result from their final destination.
