In a major breakthrough, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested the mastermind and the alleged bomber behind the Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe blast.
The two accused, Abdul Matheen Ahmed Taha and Mussavir Hussain Shazib, were hiding under false identities in Kolkata and apprehended early Friday morning. NIA officials said Taha planned the March 1 blast that injured nine people, while Shazib planted the explosive device. Kerala Police assisted the NIA in the operation.
