Agartala: Three arrested for attacking opposition MPs in Tripura. Authorities have not released the names of those arrested.
The BJP unleashed violence against the leaders including Elamaram Karim MP who came to know the situation in the BJP violence-affected areas of Tripura. CPIM Tripura State Secretary Jitendra Chaudhary, AICC Secretary Ajayakumar, and others were also attacked along with Elamaram Karim. BJP workers set fire to one vehicle and vandalized two vehicles.
Eight MPs came to Tripura under the leadership of Elamaram Karim. A group of MPs visited the violence-affected areas in different groups.
