New Delhi: The United States has provided financial assistance to India to support the Covid defense. The agreement is to provide $ 250 million in aid to India. The two countries also agreed to work together to fight terrorism. The United States has made it clear that military intervention is not the answer to the Afghan problem. India has called for a democratic solution to Afghanistan.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Foreign Minister S Jayasankar. The meeting also discussed the operation of the Indo-Pacific Quad Alliance and visa waivers. Earlier, Anthony Blinken had met Ajit Doval, India’s National Security Adviser. “Indians and Americans believe in human dignity, equality, law, fundamental freedoms, and religious freedom, and the goal is deep cooperation with India,” Blinkon said. This is Anthony Blink’s first trip since Joe Biden came to power.
