Srinagar: A drone carrying explosives was shot down by troops on the Jammu and Kashmir border.
The troops found the drone at Kanachak province.
This comes after the intelligence agency warned of a possible terrorist attack in the country’s capital in connection with Independence Day.
The drone fired similarly in the Satwari area on Wednesday. There were reports of weapons and explosives being delivered by drone to terrorists in Kashmir from across the Pakistan border. Based on this, heavy security has been put in place at the border and in the national capital, Delhi.
