New Delhi: Al Qaeda has threatened to carry out a suicide bombing in India in the wake of the blasphemy controversy.
Security will be beefed up in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. States have also been warned based on the threat. The Union Home Ministry has directed to expand security arrangements and inspections.
Al Qaeda has threatened to launch attacks in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. The threat was made in a letter to al Qaeda’s subcontinent. The letter threatened to kill those who insulted the Prophet.
The threat message said he would plant explosives on his own body and the bodies of children. The letter threatens that the matter will not end with despair or condemnation and that no matter how much security is provided, there will be no escape.
