New Delhi: As part of controlling air pollution, more measures are being tightened in Delhi. Primary schools will be closed from tomorrow. Activities outside the classroom will be suspended.
Activities including sports competitions are not allowed in schools.
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that there is no political war over air pollution. But air pollution in North India is dangerous. Many places were covered with smoke. Delhi’s air quality index yesterday was a poor 389. Some schools in Delhi and Haryana have moved classes online due to air pollution.
Smog continues in national capital Delhi for a week. According to the Air Quality Index, around 10 areas in Delhi are still in danger of air pollution. RK Puram in Delhi recorded a hazardous air quality index of 486 yesterday. Alipur, Anand Lok, Anand Vihar, Ashok Vihar, Dwarka Sector, Karol Bagh also recorded an index above 400. There is no solution to Delhi’s air pollution. Excessive use of vehicles has increased pollution. People say that air pollution is reduced only during monsoons and if you want to live in Delhi, you need to boost your immune system.
In Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, burning of fields after harvesting also increases the pollution. Inhaling polluted air can also cause major health problems, according to reports.
