Jaipur: Air Force MiG-21 fighter jet crashes in Rajasthan, killing three locals. The accident happened in the Dabli area of Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. Officials said the pilot was safe.
The plane crashed and fell on top of the houses of local residents. The plane took off from Suratgarh Airbase for a test flight and crashed due to a technical fault.
The pilot of the plane was escaping by parachute. The Air Force stated that the pilot suffered minor injuries and an investigation has been launched into the crash.

IG Omprakash said that the pilot tried to prevent the crashed plane from falling into the residential area and rescue operations are underway at the spot.
